Taming Jekyll October 20, 2012 by fernferret
This website you’re viewing is generated with Jekyll, which, as I’ve mentioned before, is awesome. Jekyll takes ordinary markdown pages combined with the liquid templating engine to produce a complete site that appears as if it has a lot more functionality than it really does. This has several advantages, including security (all pages are static) and speed! It can do a lot of really cool things, but as the name of the project appropriately describes, it can be a bit unruly at times.
The other tool that can get a Jekyll site setup very quickly (for those of us who are not creative at all) is Twitter Bootstrap. The base css layout are simply incredible.

Fernferret Is Back October 18, 2012 by fernferret
Hello all!
It’s been a while, but I’m finally back in action. I needed a little break to venture out into the world. I’ll be working through all 250ish issues in the tracker in Core alone.

The problem comes when the support/feature requests start flowing in...
Multiverse Blog January 13, 2012 by fernferret
But guys!?! Why? Not another place to get info! We (I, Eric Stokes) have decided to play around with Jekyll. This is neat because any of the MV devs can commit, write, yell or code on here. Anything you see here comes directly from the team.
This is where we’ll talk about the new cool things we’re doing with MV2.
For now, this site looks terrible. I’m working on prettifying it, but if any of you MV2 users are graphic designers and want to write us some sweet css, please send me an email: fernferret at gmail.
